Live Pig Prices Today, February 25, 2025: Southern Region Continues to Rise

February 25th saw live pig prices in the Northern region remain stable. Prices in key provinces like Bac Giang, Hung Yen, and Hanoi held steady at 73,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region. Other areas traded around 71,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. The Central and Central Highlands experienced minimal price fluctuations. Lam Dong and Binh Thuan saw a slight increase to 77,000 VND/kg, while Quang Tri, Quang Nam, and Khanh Hoa remained at 71,000 VND/kg. Most other localities traded between 72,000 - 75,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the Southern region continued its upward trend. Dong Nai, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Vinh Long, and Ben Tre reached a national high of 78,000 VND/kg, after increases of 1,000 - 2,000 VND. Prices in An Giang, Hau Giang, Ca Mau, and Tra Vinh remained unchanged. Other Southern provinces saw increases, with prices reaching 77,000 VND/kg.
